How to register to VS NDC Connect? - Virgin Atlantic NDC API Help

Introduction

We have provided you with an easily to follow user guide for registration to access our NDC APIs. There are two types of NDC Registration, and we will walk you through both scenarios:

User Registration where your organisation is:

1. Not registered
2. Already registered

Access to the Registration Form

From the Main Navigation, click on the Registration menu item.

This will take you to the registration page, where you can enter your details. Make sure to complete all required fields accurately, including your email, name, username, and organisation information.

Once you’ve filled out the form, review your entries carefully for any errors. When everything looks correct, click Submit to complete your registration.

Before you start, you need to know your Business Model:

Business Model Checklist

Accredited Agent - IATA - Sellers who have accredited IATA certification, and who want to create NDC bookings using their IATAs should register under this model. Note that sellers without Virgin Atlantic ticketing authority will be rejected.
Accredited Agent - TIDS - Sellers who are not IATA accredited but want to create NDC bookings, either direct, or via a Service Provider.
Corporate via a Travel Management Company - For corporates (IATA and TIDS) with a negotiated contract with Virgin Atlantic, and who book via a Travel Management Company (TMC). The TMC must already be registered for VS NDC Connect before you register.
Online Booking Tool - For third parties that are operating as an Online Booking Tool and wish to connect directly, or via a service provider. These connections must have a TIDS identifier, regardless of connection method. These parties will not be able to act as a seller without permission from the airline.
Service Provider - For those that wish to act as a NDC Service Provider (also known as Aggregator). These parties must have a TTC identifier and are not able to act as a seller without permission from the airline.
Please register with IATA to obtain your TTC and TIDS Identifier.

Email Confirmation

On submission, you will receive the following message

If you are registering for an organisation that has not been registered on the VS NDC Connect Portal, you will receive the the Confirm eMail Address confirmation email.
If you are registering for an organisation that is already registered on the VS NDC Connect Portal, the administrator for the organisation will receive an email alert to approve or reject your registration.

Confirm Email Address

If you are registering for an organisation that has NOT yet been registered on the VS NDC Connect Portal, you will receive the following email confirming your registration request. If your organisation is already registered, please proceed to the 'Sign Up Approval' section to complete your onboarding process.

Navigate to the Login page

Click to confirm your registration, then navigate to the homepage and click the login icon. Alternatively, you can click here to proceed directly to the login page.

Complete Organisation Form

Log in using your newly created account, and you will be directed to the following screen.

Since this is your company's initial registration on the VS NDC Connect Portal, you will need to complete the Organisation Registration form. Please ensure that you fill out all fields marked with an asterisk (*).

After completing the form, click 'SAVE' to submit your information.

Admin Dashboard

You will then be presented with the Admin Dashboard, where you can manage your organisation's settings and access various features.

Sign Up Approval

If you are registering for an organisation that is already registered on the VS NDC Connect Portal, the administrator for that organisation will receive an email notification to approve or reject your registration request.

Account Approved

If you are registering for an organisation that is already registered on the VS NDC Connect Portal, the administrator for the organisation will receive the following email alert to approve or reject your registration.

Access to Admin Panel

Click on the 'VS Connect' link (from the email) and you will be logged on to VS NDC Connect.

You have now completed the Registration to VS Connect Portal.
