The Virgin Atlantic NDC Sandbox Tool is now available to all registered partners on the VS NDC Connect Portal. The Sandbox Tool provides a dedicated testing environment that mirrors the production setting, supporting developers with building, testing, and validating their NDC integrations in a risk-free space before going live. To access the Sandbox Tool, you will need a registered portal account and an active pre-production API key.

Before You Begin:
To connect to the VS NDC Sandbox Tool you will need:
- A registered account on the VS NDC Connect Portal
- An active pre-production API key, generated from within your portal account
Your API key is used to authenticate your connection to the NDC APIs. If you do not yet have an account or API key, follow the steps below before accessing the Sandbox.
If you are already registered and have a pre-production API Key:
- Step 1 - Login to VS NDC Connect Portal
- Step 2 - Access 'Team' from the left menu
- Step 3 - Click on a Team member
- Step 4 - Under Booking Tool Access (Sandbox), select 'Access Granted'
You will then have access to the Sandbox Tool.

The Sandbox Tool provides access to full XML request and response logs across all supported NDC workflows. Partners can retrieve sample XMLs directly from the tool to use as reference examples during development, significantly reducing build time and aiding certification preparation.
Certification Support
The Sandbox Tool is designed to support your NDC certification journey. Partners can test against standard certification scenarios to ensure their integration meets Virgin Atlantic's requirements before submission.
Full API Coverage
Test across all supported NDC APIs including AirShopping, OfferPrice, OrderCreate, OrderRetrieve, OrderChange, OrderReshop, OrderQuote, SeatAvailability, ServiceList, OrderList and OrderHistory, within a controlled environment.
Test Developer Keys
Once registered, partners can request access to test API keys, providing the credentials required to interact with the Sandbox environment directly.
