Name Change/Amendment

The Name Correction flow allows an agent or customer to correct minor errors in a passenger’s name after a booking has been created — such as fixing typos or adjusting middle/last names — without reissuing a new ticket if allowed by the airline.

Please prepare the following use cases to demonstrate Name Change/Amendment capability in your application.

Once these are ready, please upload the XML logs required for the certification process.

 
 
Use Case Workflow
 
OrderRetrieve RQ/RS

Please provide an OrderRetrieve request and response that meets the following criteria:

Parameters:
  1. Itinerary: LHR → JFK (One-way)
  2. Passenger(s): 2 x ADT, 2 x INF
  3. Fare Type: Published Fares
  4. Cabin: Any Cabin

These samples will be used to validate your system’s ability to correctly retrieve your intinerary.

 
OrderReshop RQ/RS

Please provide an OrderReshop request and response that meets the following criteria:

Parameters:
  1. Itinerary: LHR → JFK (One-way)
  2. Passenger(s): Reshop for the name change as per VA rules.
  3. Fare Type: Published Fares
  4. Cabin: Any Cabin

These samples will be used to validate your system’s ability to correctly reshop your intinerary.

 
OrderChange RQ/RS

Please provide an OrderChange request and response that meets the following criteria:

Parameters:
  1. Itinerary: LHR → JFK (One-way)
  2. Passenger(s): To accept an offer (from OrderReshop) to change the name of the passenger
  3. Fare Type: Published Fares
  4. Cabin: Any Cabin

These samples will be used to validate your system’s ability to correctly accept an offer from OrderReshop to change the name of the passenger.
