Forms of Payment
These are the payment methods accepted by Virgin Atlantic for the purchase, issuance, or servicing of tickets. Each form of payment must comply with Virgin Atlantic’s financial, security, and settlement requirements. Eligibility can vary depending on the point of sale, market, or agency accreditation, and some methods may only be available to approved partners or ticketing authorities.
If your agency needs ticketing authority to issue Virgin Atlantic tickets, you may
submit a request
through our standard approval process. Once your authority is granted, you will be able to ticket using the approved forms of payment associated with your account.
Currently, we accept the following forms of payment:
- Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discovery, and Diners,
- Debit Cards
- IATA BSP Cash
- IATA Easy Pay Cash
BSP Cash Payment
IATA BSP cash payment is used for airline transactions that are settled through the IATA Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) without the use of a credit card. The amount is reported as a cash sale and included in the agent’s BSP billing for settlement according to IATA timelines.
