This is the requote and confirm held booking flow. We have provided the inputs and outputs for each API at each stage of the sequence.

General Information

Ticketing Time Limit (TTL or PaymentTimeLimit) is calculated based on reservation date and departure date
Booking is not allowed to be held (i.e only instant purchase is allowed) when the departure date is less than 4 days from the reservation date
Booking is allowed to be held for 3 days from the reservation date when the departure date is more than 4 days
Tickets will be issued at the same price at time of booking creation i.e Both fare and taxes will be guaranteed
PaymentTimeLimit is for each offer in AirShopping and OfferPrice
Once the hold booing (unticketed booking) is created, the PaymentTimeLimit is returned in OrderViewRS in response to OrderCreate and OrderRetrieve
PaymentTimeLimit will not be returned in OrderViewRS once the booking is ticketed
Itinerary will be cancelled automatically if tickets were not issued within the TTL
Hold booking is allowed for flight only bookings i.e if the seller wants to book flights as well as seats (free or paid seats) then only instant purchase is allowed
Seller may either choose to provide both Gender and DOB for non-infant passengers at time of booking creation (OrderCreate) or at time of ticket issuance (OrderChange). Tickets will not be issued without Gender and DOB
For Infant passengers it is mandatory to provide Gender and DOB at time of booking creation (OrderCreate)
For non-infant passengers, If only Gender or DOB is provided at time of booking creation then it will not be added to the booking. Either provide both Gender or DOB at time of booking creation (OrderCreate) or provide them later at time of ticket issuance (OrderChange)
